The Youth Council is a part of the national humanitarian organization, the American Red Cross. The American Red Cross is founded on its seven fundamental principles: humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity, and universality.

The services of the American Red Cross include: Blood, Disaster, Health and Safety, Military, Youth, and International services.

An interesting point to be made about the American Red Cross is that it is a volunteer organization. It is almost entirely composed of volunteers, and volunteers outnumber paid staff immensely. The American Red Cross not only helps the community, it is the community.

The American Red Cross is part of a larger, international organization, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

(The Red Crystal was added for Israel's Judaism, as the Red Crescent was added for Islamic countries)

Similarly, we the Youth Council are part of a larger picture. We are the hub of a group of clubs that each do their part, so a list of these clubs is appropriate.
